How does this work?

As an assumption an Artist who expects to earn Rs. 75,000 from a piece of Art shall divide his profits with the number of prints printed. This amount is the Artists’ margin i.e. for 150 prints his margin shall be Rs. 500. After adding all the printing, distribution overheads to the artist’s margin the Retail Price is calculated that is generally less than Rs. 2000 for a medium sized art. Fine Art Prints (Open Edition): Fine Art Print is a finely reproduced original art, printed on high quality Art Paper greater than 350gms.
